Disney and Dole to teamup to offer new brands and health education programs

Disney and the Dole Food Company plan to launch a new assortment of fresh produce featuring Disney, Pixar, Star Wars, and Marvel characters.


In addition to the fresh produce, the two brands will also launch health and nutrition education programs themed around other characters in 2017, according to a news release.

“Disney and Dole have a shared mission of providing high quality produce to help families lead healthier lives,” Josh Silverman, executive vice president of global licensing, Disney Consumer Products and Interactive Media, said in the release.

The programs will include promotions and themed recipes featuring DOLE products to encourage a diet in fruits and vegetables.
