Star Wars Day at Sea scheduled expanding in 2017 on Disney Cruise Line

Star Wars Day at Sea will not only return for 2017, it will expand to even more Caribbean cruises.

The special event will happen on 15 sailings from January through April on both Eastern and Western Caribbean sailings. Each trip includes a single day of special Star Wars fun, including character appearances, a deck party and fireworks, Jedi training for kids, at-sea screenings of Star Wars films, themed food and beverage offerings, and special merchandise.

If you can't wait until 2017, there are three more Star Wars sailings this year that still have some limited availability. They leave for the Western Caribbean on March 19, April 2 and April 16.

If you're planning ahead, the Star Wars Day at Sea will happen on the following cruises in 2017:

Prices vary depending on the time of year and the cabin you prefer. For a cruise leaving Jan. 7, 2017, rates range from $3,505 per person for an inside cabin to $3,757 for a verandah cabin. Wait until April 1 to depart and the range is $4,625 to $5,003.
