Disney up for 7 Oscar awards tonight

When the Academy Awards are broadcast tonight the Walt Disney Company will be vying for seven awards ranging from Animated Feature Film to Short Film to Song to Visual Effects and Makeup.

The Walt Disney Company has won dozens of Academy Awards since winning its first for the 1932 "Flowers and Trees" as Best Short Subject, Cartoons.

Here are the list of categories Disney films are vying for:

Animated Feature Film: "Frozen"

Short Film Animated: "Get a Horse!"

Makeup and Hair Syling:  "The Lone Ranger" - Joel Harlow and Gloria Pasqua-Casny

Music Original Score:  "Savings Mr. Banks" - Thomas Newman

Music Original Song: "Let It Go" -- Music and Lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez

Visual Effects: "Iron Man 3" - Christopher Townsend, Guy Williams, Erik Nash and Dan Sudick

"The Long Ranger" -  Tim Alexander, Gary Brozenich, Edson Williams and John Frazier
