'Frozen' soundtrack tops Billboard chart

The "Frozen" soundtrack remains in the top position on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album is also No. 1 on Billboard's Soundtrack Chart and Overall Digital Albums Chart, peaked at No. 1 on the iTunes Overall Chart, and is No. 1 on Amazon's Overall Music Category, Pop, and Overall MP3 charts.

The last time a Disney soundtrack reached the No. 1 position was "The Lion King" in 1994.

The soundtrack contains eight original songs from Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopezplus with a score from Christopher Beck.

The song "Let it Go," performed by Idina Menzel, the voice of Elsa, is up for a Golden Globe award on Jan. 12.
